Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions we hear most from contractors and homeowners buying scaffolding. Can’t find what you need? Call +1 (647) 449-9433 or email info@canadawidesupplies.com.
Where can I pick up my order?
Pickup is free at our warehouse: 90 Winges Road Unit #4, Woodbridge, ON L4L 6A9, Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Bring your order confirmation and we’ll help you load.
Do you deliver scaffolding?
Yes — we deliver across the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario, typically same or next business day within the GTA. Delivery cost is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. See our delivery areas and Shipping & Delivery page for details.
What is your return policy?
All sales are final, with a 14-day exchange window: eligible unused items can be exchanged or credited (less a 30% restocking fee) within 14 days of delivery or pickup. Items that arrive damaged or defective are replaced free of charge. Full details in our Return & Refund Policy.
Is your scaffolding compliant with Canadian safety standards?
Our frames, platforms and accessories are built to ANSI, CSA and OSHA standards — you’ll find the compliance details and full dimensions in the specification table on each product page. Scaffolding must always be erected, inspected and used by competent persons in accordance with Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Do your prices include HST?
Prices are shown before tax — HST is added at checkout. What you see at checkout, including any delivery cost, is the final amount.
How do I know how much scaffolding I need?
Use our free 3D scaffold calculator — enter your wall or structure dimensions and it builds a complete parts list you can add straight to your cart. You can also call us and we’ll size your job over the phone.
Do you offer bulk or contractor pricing?
Yes. For full scaffolding packages, high-volume orders or ongoing supply, contact us for a quote — we’ll price the whole package including delivery to your job site.
Is buying scaffolding cheaper than renting?
For most jobs longer than a few weeks, yes — rental fees recur every month, while a purchased set is yours for every future job and holds resale value. Complete sets start under $700, which is often less than a single season of rental.
